Tree Felling Ceremony

Deep in a hot languid rainforest, on the Pacific island of Huahine, the air dense with the smells of smoke from village fires and the fragrance of lush vegatation, there is a gathering, a ceremony. The felling of bread-fruit tree, which has long served the community, will perish and be reborn as a va`a, to continue to serve the community in another form. It's a time of sadness and celebration. What is RSS?

How can I use RSS?
RSS feeds are typically read with a ‘News Reader’ or aggregator program similar to an email client (like Outlook Express). I suggest NetNewsWire for Mac users and for PCs Feed Demon and Feed Reader (free). Add feeds to your My Yahoo Page, Personalized Google or similar online aggregator.

July 14th 2007, Mandy Kirby and Steve West tied the knot at home in Mooloolaba. The couple were originally together when 16 and 18 and some 26 years later fate would have it, that they should come together once more, for good. Chris Maynard acted as the 'Best Man' and 'Amanda Ozolins' the 'Maid of Honor', Sue Sheard did an amazing job as photographer. It was a very casual affair with an 11.30am ceremony followed at 2.30 by an onslaught of hungry, thirsty paddlers who ate their way through an entire lamb, several slabs of pork and a truck load of beer and beverages.
